Lena is our CEO and has a genuine passion for the marine industry. With over 20 of her 37 years in insurance dedicated to underwriting and servicing clients in the marine industry she is ideally suited to lead our business. Although she started her working life as an underwriter for a major insurer, she spent much of her career working for a specialist marine broker, working her way up from an Account Handler to Managing Director.

Lena has been described as annoyingly positive and by one of her clients as being able to inject fun into insurance, which is no mean feat! Both attributes sum up her enthusiasm for the industry she works in and fuels her determination to make ProMarine a leading marine specialist provider.

When she is not working Lena likes to travel anywhere in the world, preferably on foot!
