Like Lena, Simon shares a passion for the marine industry which makes him ideal to fulfil the role of our Chief Commercial Officer.

Simon started his career as an underwriter for a major insurer before joining a specialist marine broker 28 years ago. After several years in a client facing role travelling around the country assisting clients with their marine portfolios, Simon turned his hand to underwriting again, eventually becoming Marine Director.

Drawing on the breadth of his experience he is well placed to help grow and diversify our marine offering. Simon thrives on writing new business and client relationships, so he is perfectly matched in his role. He can combine these aspects with a thoughtful and intelligent approach to underwriting, protecting both our clients and insurers alike.

Simon is a seriously talented photographer and can often be found out of hours stalking the local wildlife!
